The Roberts Orpheum Theater, listed on the National Register of Historic Places,
opened in 1917 as the Orpheum vaudeville theatre, decorated in
lavishly ornamented beaux-arts style; it remained in the original
owner’s family until purchased by Michael and Steven Roberts in 2004. After a million dollar renovation that preserved the unique historic elements of the theater, and with seating capacity of 1,500, the Roberts Orpheum Theater offers midsize touring theatrical shows and local productions, concerts, and non-ticketed corporate events and weddings.
