“I am really enjoying reading your book. I must confess, though, that as I read, I am skipping around, but that doesn't seem to detract from the continuity. I suppose after reading the Forward, Preface, Acknowledgements, Introduction and Chapter I, it doesn't appear to require sequential reading. If I were still serving as an adjunct professor at one of the local colleges/universities, I could very well require that my students read those aforementioned sections as prerequisites, then assign chapters, ongoing, as appropriate. There are gems throughout! You may not agree with this reading order, and I may not either, later. I have never heard the word "Actionaire" before....it must be a Mike Roberts created word.....but I like it because it instantly communicates a concept. As I moved from chapter to chapter, I kept envisioning the Nike swoosh logo and the company's "Just do it" phrase. Your term "Actionaire" brings that to mind. Some other thoughts: Tenacity and determination.....it took you six years to get the license for your television station, so I guess 2 years of seeking a sponsorship for J.R. doesn't seem quite so bad.” “Chapter 8 ....the Actionaire's personal and business lives are one.....they challenge the societal rules of separating work and play. “Wow! I just finished reading your book, and I tell you, I had to start over three times reading the preface and the introduction. Yes, it's a must read and pretty deep if I must say. I know the author is DEEP. It's really interesting because I know you, and I was able to follow some of the family and St. Louis history. What is really interesting is the end results and where you are today. I love the term "Actionaire".
